Easy to assemble, install, and adjust. The strap that goes under the mattress and attaches to the bed frame needs to have a secondary type of connection. I used it on a foam mattress with a wood platform base. There needs to be some type of flat hook attachment that can be "hooked" onto a section of the platform.
Seems to keep grandmother in bed, works well enough. Bought 2, trying to return 1 but no one’s answering the phones, coronavirus? No luck on my phone getting a return label
They are awesome I used them with a adjustable bed.
Difficult to drop if two hands not used. Reengineering to twist a knob or push a lever to release would improve tremendously.
